Sikka Software, a platform and marketplace that is revolutionizing the retail healthcare industry, and Worldpay, the global leader in payments, today announced a new agreement to provide an integrated and smart online payment solution to their clients in the United States and around the world.

The collaboration between these two companies will provide clients with a cost-effective and integrated payment solution powered by the combination of Worldpay’s expertise in highly secure and reliable online payments and Sikka Software’s market-leading technology platform that is compatible with over 96% of dental, veterinary, optometry, orthodontist, chiropractor, oral surgery and audiology markets.

As part of the agreement, both companies are joining forces to develop a secure payment application, which will be integrated with practices for both card present and card not present cases. For example, when a patient walks up to the front office to pay, the system will know exactly what treatment was performed, what the total receivable balance is and the patient portion following insurance adjustments. This vastly reduces errors and increases patient satisfaction. In addition, a patient or a guardian can login after hours and pay for treatment performed or planned from the convenience of their home using a secure browser.
